Adding to the recent wave of re-releases comes the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, which includes all four Zero and two ZX titles in a single package. This is a great opportunity to revisit some games that you might have missed the first time around, or play again through some classics!

The set will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 21 January 2020.

The Sega Genesis Mini comes with the Wily Wars!
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 16 May 2019 at 10:31

Announced today as part of the games line up for the upcoming Sega Genesis Mini is none other than Mega Man: the Wily Wars! This compilation of remakes of Mega Man 1 to 3 never had a wide-scale release in North America before, making this one of the best options available if you've been meaning to play it. I, for one, certainly didn't see this one coming! The Genesis Mini is scheduled to be released worldwide on 19 September.

Long-time visitors of this site might remember that the Wily Wars has a bonus area, Wily Tower, accessible once you beat the 3 main games. However, earlier emulators were not able to properly handle the game's saving system, making the Wily Tower area unavailable. Eventually, savestates and game patches were developed and are still hosted here, making this content available. Assuming that the emulation of the Genesis Mini is done properly, this is one less issue that people will have to deal with!

Nineteenth anniversary!
Site news, by Dr. Cossack on 7 May 2019 at 23:02

A day late perhaps, but that's only 0.27% of a year, so who cares! The Mega Man PC Website: Dr. Cossack's Lab is now 19 years old, getting somewhat older but still very much alive! Not a lot of changes have been visible on the site this year, but I'm working on something that'll benefit the community once complete. I'll report here whenever that's done!

The series has finally seen a sort of revival, thankfully, with Mega Man 11 being well received by most players and reviewers. Capcom of Japan has started dropping hints that something is on the way for the X series as well. Meanwhile, the X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 have allowed people to go back to enjoy some fun classics in a tight package, and the new cartoon is still going on various channels.

Here's to more releases and content to enjoy!
