Mega Man X2 on the Virtual Console

After a year of wait, Mega Man X2 has been released on the Wii's Virtual Console in North America. This game was the first to use Capcom's CX4 chip, also known as C4, which provides sprite rotations and 3D effects. It's also one of the most difficult Mega Man games to find in cartridge format: I saw this weekend a used, boxed copy available for 130$ CAD!

No Mega Man at E3

To the surprise of about no one, Mega Man failed to make an appearance at this year's E3. This was mostly expected since there was no mention of a possible game on Capcom's lineup, yet some games have shown up unexpectedly in the past.

Representatives of Capcom USA have dropped clues in the past few months that something might be underway for Mega Man's 25th Anniversay, and that we should hear about those plans later this year.
