According to an attendant of this week's Rockman 20th Anniversary celebration, Keiji Inafune, the creator of the Rockman/Mega Man series, has expressed his interest in creating another Mega Man game within the next 5 years in light of the series' visibly prominent fanbase.

When the attendant asked an unnamed representative about the status of a Mega Man game for Wii, his vague answer hinted that such an idea, while not yet in development, is being considered for a later date.
