New Mega Man X7 translation project
X Series, posted by Dr. Cossack on February 21, 2017 at 23:51 [Link]

As some of you know, Mega Man X7 received a PC release several years ago, but that only happened in Korea. As such, the dialogue and text is hard if not impossible to follow for players living in other regions of the world.

To help with that, Twig released two patches to swap the Korean data with the English set, essentially turning the game into an English release. This made the game very playable, but the work wasn't complete either.

To further improve on this, Gnite has released a new set of patches for the game. These focus on the audio aspect: they replace more dialogue with the English version, especially on cutscenes, along with correcting the pitch of several effects. These files, along with the installation instructions, are now available on his website.

This is a work in progress that should see future updates to correct even more issues, so I suggest that you keep an eye on Gnite Productions for new information!
