I like Final Fantasy X the beggining intro of Tidus playing Blitzball (with all that cool music playing) and then sin comes and blows up the city.

Good one DAZ, well for me, its not about the graphics, its about how damn cool it looks (nothing to do with graphics) The end of MMZ wher Zero cuts that X-Droid in half, and te MMZ theme is playing in the background.

oh and te opening scenes in KH (It does count as a cut scene)

I've got another one Kingdom Hearts Secret ending where Riku whirls out his to keyblades.

Anyone ever played Orphen Scion of Society? They have some cool cut-scenes of anime there too. It's an old game now though. Not really old, it's a PS2 game.

the intro to soul calibur 2 was wicked awesome, i know it didnt have any blood-spraying killing sprees and stuff, but the graphics were so awesome

Although I didn't like the game that much, the scenes in FF9 where Alexander and Bahamut fought...that was great. Also the opening scene in Soul Calibur II.

personally i like a couple:
sonic DX - where chaos attacks the city in his final form - not many people like this scene anymore... they think it looks to much like 9/11...
Evolution worlds - the scene when linear finally shows she is evolutia( and finally says something!)
bloody roar primal fury - all of them lol

I like any fmv in FFX where that super cool Hymn of the FAyth plays...

Oh yeah.... I totally agree with you. I felt that way too. The music got to me.

The beginning cutscene in Destroy All Monsters Meele, the Vortakk says "Now, you can return to whatever you were doing! *mumbles* idiots" Very funny, I was like WHA-- and stunned! Boo you all, I`m the only one who likes kaiju on this board!!!! *Gets in hover tank and frags non-kaiju fans*

My favorite cut-scene is the ending in Tales of Symphonia. It's like three minutes long and all anime! It was awesome. I will see it again one day. Mainly because I have a save that's already at a point where I could fight the boss.

The beggining cutscene for Onimusha 3 is AWESOME!

I almost thought it was the ninja guy from Onimusha 2 for a second...

I also like FF7's cutscene where Cloud breaks through the glass of the building on the motorcycle.

Mine is the scene in Ninja Gaiden (Xbox version) where Ryu shows up at his villiage and its all burnt and stuff and he fights Doku. It is just so cool looking!

Hmm Besides the Famous Aeris scene and the MM8 intro or KH Intro I'd have to say one of the best scenes in a game would be the entire end sequence of MMBN, where Lan learns about Hub and the end where Hub visits Lan's bedroom, awww it was soo cute !!!

I feel ever so lonely and out of place here.
My favorite cut-scene in every video game is the opening to Metroid Prime, where Samus's spaceship goes to the derelict research vessel. I love when she gets out, when she does the flip and lands. That's just awexome.
Out of Megaman games, it's the ending for MMX5's Zero. Poor Zero, he's gonna come back so he can't see Iris.

Any cutscene from Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.

I also quite fancy the intro cut scene from Breath of fire IV. Beautiful stuff...Too bad Capcom screwed the series by creating Dragon Quarter. A perfect example of a game trying too hard to be different and in the process losing the charm that brought it to the dance.

As far as the megaman games are concerned nonthing really stands out for me but the MM8 intro was indeed a very tasty nostalgic treat.

The cutscene when the imposter Yuna sings at that big concert while Rikku and Paine beat the crud out of all the guards."YRP its showtime girls!" just great.

The best cutscene for me would have to be...uh...the part in FFX where the entire team gets ready to fight Yunalesca, and the whole screen gets sort of, like, "filmy". Also, any scene with Auron and Sin in it was awesome.

As for Megaman games, I only know a few, so I'd have to say the ending of MMX, or the part in Megaman Legends/64 where you walk in on Roll.:( I know, I should be punished for bringing that up)

I don't see anything wrong with getting too into the game. RPGs like Final Fantsay are made to tell stories. Getting involved in the story is a good thing and makes you care.
