I also will probably get Thunder Berserk if I buy this.

If you want to be technical, Dragon in the states will be a Gamestop exclusive, and I bet this will be the same way. So that cuts the versions down to 2.

That Dinosaur form looks like the lovechild of Samus and the Hulk, with the kid on steroids...>_<

Ha, me being the person who constantly needs a reason to keep playing a certain game, I buy all the versions, just to get the full experience.

Lucky still, August is close enough to June to call the preorders "presents."


Wait, Gamestop exclusives? Ugh, the one near me was bad about preorder updates, and we're still upset about how they handled things with it. But still, I think there's another one I could put the moey down on the games at.

It'll be awhile still, but the only interest I have for the game are, who are the bosses and any new characters?

Well out of all of them Im getting dragon from the states and Leo from that site in that other topic.Out of these I might get the thunder one becouse he looks cool and has a sword.

Not anymore Doc, according to the Ryuusei Japan site there will be 2 versions. Both will have the thunder berserk transformation. The other transformations will be split between two games. So you only have to decide whether you want Ninja or dinosaur really.

Good, only 2 versions. I can do with 2, but if they keep the 3 up, I'll have to start picking, which I hate - I love being a collector!

New SF2 stuff.

There is a new character called Bly, depicted at the top of this scan:



Take note that in one part of the scan, they show Bly, and profile pictures of Chaud and ProtoMan.EXE, as well as Bass.EXE.

Brother-banding is back, except now you can only choose four cards instead of six.

Other news includes that you can combine the new forms, shown here:



And apparently, there will be an Ultimate Form, where you can combine all three, with the shuriken on the right shoulder, the electric sword in the right hand, and the dinosaur head on the left.

Finally, preordering the game grants you a Tribe Attack Card for use with the Star Carrier, in whichever version you chose--apparently, the Thunder Berserk Card comes with the Star Carrier.

If I do get this game, I'll be goin' for the super thunder ninja mode.

Bly seems to be a combo of Bass and Protoman-perhaps your rival, like Protoman, but more of an ass, like Bass. Also note that Bly shares design themes common with Bass and Protoman: Protoman's red colors and white hair, and Bass's squiggles and hand raised in dark power.

It'd be too much to wish that Bass returned in Star Force, but hey, that'd be pretty damn swell.

Well, he does evolve, maybe he could evolve to an FM wave?

Or maybe it's Megaman from the future reprogrammed to be evil?

All three versions of the game look fresh. I will just stick with thunder though. It`s like a nightly elecman.

Thunder Berserk is in both versions, saiyanprince--it's been said earlier Star Force 2 will only come in two versions.

If you think about it the forms sound so "original". Is capcom running out of ideas?

Apparently you'll be getting the option to create an "Auto-Brother," a made-up character you can band with. Also there's something called "bonds-strength," which, when increased, will unlock new abilities and stuff.

Methinks that the originality you can let loose upon this Auto-Brother will be very little, as I doubt that they will have a lot of options for you to choose from

Also, apparently Bly gains strength from being alone. As opposed to powering up from uber-friendship like everyone else.

Does anyone know if you will be able to battle in mmsf2 over the internet or only able to band with people again?

Another update, for those of you who even care anymore.

The confirmed transformations will work much like the first set. They'll have charged attacks and KFBs (having never played any of the games, I'll assume you know what those are).

Thunder Berserk gets Thunder Slash and Thunderbolt Blade.

Fire Dinosaur gets Dino Cannon and Genocide Blazer.

Green Shinobi gets Shinobi Shuriken and Fuumashippuujin.

The Double Tribe-Ons will have the same. Charge attacks are unknown, but the KFBs are known.

Dinosaur Berserk's is Vanishing Blazer.

Berserk Shinobi's is Elemental Blade.

Shinobi Dinosaur is Enmarepuujin.

Also, there might just be three more Double Tribe-Ons, which are reversals of what's already there: Berserk Dinosaur, Shinobi Berserk, and Dinosaur Shinobi.

And finally, we have the ultimate form: Tribe King.



Tribe King's charge shot is Over Slasher, which is as powerful, or more powerful, than a Mega-class Battle Card. Its KFB is called the Kaiser Delta Breaker.

In other news, the yeti boss is revealed as Yeti Blizzard, and another boss is revealed, Brachio Wave--its head alone takes up half of one screen. The bosses are supposed to be derived from various legends.

Also, now they're saying you get six brothers in a band. And there are still over 200 battle cards. You still get the same buster, shield, and lock-on abilities. One new thing however is you can make panels that benefit you... say, make a Attack +10 panel, stand on it, and you're doing more damage.
